Mata kuliah ini membahas teori, konsep, dan dinamika sosial yang berkaitan dengan konflik serta proses rekonsiliasi dalam masyarakat. Fokus utama diberikan pada analisis penyebab konflik, bentuk-bentuk konflik sosial, dampak konflik terhadap struktur sosial, serta strategi dan pendekatan sosiologis dalam upaya rekonsiliasi dan perdamaian. Mahasiswa diajak untuk memahami berbagai studi kasus, baik lokal maupun global, serta mengembangkan kemampuan analitis untuk mengelola dan menyelesaikan konflik secara konstruktif dalam kehidupan sosial
