Mata kuliah ini membahas konsep, teori, dan strategi pembangunan ekonomi, baik dari perspektif konvensional maupun Islam. Mahasiswa akan mempelajari faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi, seperti investasi, sumber daya manusia, teknologi, serta peran pemerintah dalam perencanaan pembangunan. Pembahasan mencakup isu-isu kontemporer seperti kemiskinan, ketimpangan, utang negara, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
