Deskripsi Mata Kuliah

Mata kuliah Gender dan Pembangunan Global dirancang untuk menganalisis peran gender dalam konteks pembangunan internasional, kebijakan global, dan hubungan antarnegara. Melalui pendekatan multidisipliner (politik, ekonomi, sosiologi, dan antropologi), mahasiswa akan mengeksplorasi bagaimana isu gender membentuk dinamika pembangunan, ketimpangan global, serta respons institusi dan aktor internasional. Kursus ini menekankan pada keterkaitan antara gender dengan isu-isu seperti kemiskinan, konflik, perubahan iklim, dan globalisasi.

    • Feminis serta isu gender dalam pembangunan global;
    • Kondisi perempuan di negara-negara Muslim;
    • Kondisi perempuan di negara-negara Nordic;
    • Relasi gender dalam diplomasi;
    • Nasionalisme, isu kependudukan, serta pengungsi dalam perspektif gender;
    • Gender dalam perang;
    • Gender dan terorisme, hegemoni maskulin, dan peran keluarga dalam terorisme;
    • Dampak industri terhadap perempuan, terutama di negara berkembang;
    • Isu gender dalam fenomena buruh  migran;
    • Feminis postcolonial; dan
    • Gerakan sosial berbasis gender di berbagai benua.
